Demo Derby at Beeton Fair

Beeton Fall Fair 2019 Demo Derby Prizes:


The 26th annual Beeton Fall Fair Demolition Derby is to be held Sunday, September 15th,  2019 at 1:00 p.m. on the Beeton Fairgrounds. Gates will be open at 8:30 a.m.

All cars are to be inspected and ready to go by 11:00 a.m., followed by a driver’s meeting at 12:30 p.m., which is exclusively for the drivers.

Based on a 20 large car entry, there will be 4 heats, with the first and second place finishers being eligible to enter the final heat.

Prizes for the LARGE car final heat are as follows:

FIRST PLACE:               –           $900.00

SECOND PLACE:          –           $500.00

THIRD PLACE:              –           $200.00

Based on a 20 small car entry, there will be 2 heats, with the first, second and third place finishers being eligible to enter the final heat.

Prizes for the SMALL car final heat are as follows:

FIRST PLACE:               –           $900.00

SECOND PLACE:          –           $500.00

THIRD PLACE:              –           $200.00


Again this year, there will be a “Last Chance Heat” for large and small cars. The first and second place winners of these heats will be able to enter the final heat.

Prizes for the “OVERALL BEST LOOKING CAR” are as follows:

FIRST PLACE:               –           $200.00

SECOND PLACE:          –           $150.00


Types of Cars:


Large cars:

 Any American-made hard top sedan or station wagon, 1980 or newer is allowed. NO trucks, convertibles, Jeeps, limousines, El Caminos, 4×4 cars, Checker cabs, Rancheros, Cadillac Eldorados, Oldsmobile Tornados, Chrysler Imperials or hearses are permitted.

Small cars:

NO Volvos, all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drives. Wheel base must not exceed 107” (Official’s discretion) and engine sizes must not exceed 4 cylinders.  If car is 107” and has average engine, it MUST enter as a 1arge car.

For both large and small cars there will be no engine swaps. Engine and transmissions must belong to the manufacturer, i.e.: Ford to Ford; GM to GM; Dodge to Dodge.


Demolition Derby Rules And Regulations


Each driver must read the Rules and Regulations carefully.

Drivers and mechanics are subject to and must obey the following Rules and Regulations, which are set up by the promoter and the track where this event is held:

  1. Each driver must fill out an entry form and supply their own car. Only one entry per person.
  2. Each driver must be 18 years of age or older and must produce a valid driver’s licence when signing in.
  3. The track or promoter reserves the right to approve or reject any and all entries.
  4. ONLY DRIVERS AND MECHANICS who sign the release form WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PIT AREA. The driver and 2 mechanics receive free pit passes upon registration of the car on the day of the show. Pit passes will be issued to persons who are 18 years of age or older.
  5. Any person or persons in the pit area without a pit pass will be removed from the pit area by police and the derby car they are involved with will be disqualified from the event with no refund.
  6. The promoter, track owner, fair or festival association will not be held responsible for any cars, parts, or personal injury or property at any time.
  7. All cars must be on site before 11:30 am. And then be removed from the grounds no later than 2 hours after the derby. All cars left in excess of this time become the property of the promoter.
  8. Entry fees ($50.00 per car) will be paid in the form of cash.
