President’s Message

It is an honour to welcome you to our 170th Beeton Fall Fair. It’s an incredible milestone that’s hard to wrap your head around. For 170 years Beeton & District Agricultural Society has gathered each autumn to celebrate the harvest, showcase local talent and keep traditions alive.

This Fair is so much more than rides and prize winning pies. It’s the farmers who rise at dawn, the 4H clubs who spend months caring for livestock, the bakers spending hours in their kitchens, the artisans and the hard working volunteers who pour their hearts into every aspect of this Fair. It’s friends and neighbors, families making memories and new faces feeling instantly welcomed into our growing community.

Reaching 170 years means we’ve weathered a lot together over the passing years, like tough seasons, changing times and everything in between. What hasn’t changed is the spirit of our community, our hard work and our pride in what we grow and create right here.

I offer a huge heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and everyone who walks through those gates to our Beeton Fall Fair. Your energy and devotion is what keeps this Fair going year after year.

I hope everyone enjoys each day at our Fair, the time they spend there together and the memories they create. Let’s make this 170th Fair one for the books, to remember for years to come.

This year’s theme is “170 Years of Harvest Roots.”

Sincerely

John Rutten, President
