KidZone is held on Saturday, September 16th, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. It is an activity-based, child-friendly, rest area for children accompanied by their parents/ guardians/ grandparents. There is no charge to participate in any of the KidZone activities; courtesy of the Beeton & District Agricultural Society.
The fun-filled activities include: Painting a School Bus; an Art Tent; a Jelly Bean Guessing Game; the Library Program and the large Sandbox with clean sand and sand toys; Craft Centres courtesy of the Girl Guides and the Friends of the O.P.P.; a Toddler Play Centre and much more.
The Stylamanders will be performing lively, inter-active musical entertainment throughout the day in the KidZone Village. Come sing-a-long, clap, stamp you feet and dance with these high-spirited entertainers. Bubba the Clown will be on hand to entertain with his balloon creations and his jovial manner. Bubba the Clown expresses the phrase, “laughter is the best medicine.” He is always a big hit with the children.
Informative and educational groups will include the Fire and Rescue Department personnel with their Fire Truck tours; also the O. P. P. will be there with a Police Cruiser and the Paramedic Services personnel will be there with their vehicle giving tours and sharing information about their jobs. All of these community groups bring along various child-friendly and adult-friendly materials to share with the public.
