The Power Wheels Derby returns, giving kids the chance to experience the thrill of racing in a safe, supervised environment designed specifically for young drivers and their modified ride-on vehicles.

Start Time: 1:00 PM (before the Demolition Derby)

Check-in: Arrive no later than 12:30 PM for sign-in and vehicle inspection

Age Range: 4 to 10 years old

Competition Classes

Derby Class: Contact racing event

Figure 8 Class: Contact racing in a figure-8 pattern

Both classes feature contact events where vehicles may bump and interact during racing, adding excitement while maintaining safety standards.

Safety Requirements

Mandatory Equipment:

  • Working seatbelt or safety harness
  • Approved helmet (properly fitted)
  • Vehicle must pass pre-race inspection

All vehicles will be inspected at check-in to ensure safety compliance before participation.
