SENIOR CITIZENS - CLASS XXXI
(Men & Women over the age of 65)

Rules:

1. Section 1-5 must be placed on approximately 6” paper plates and in food storage bags. Section 6 and 7 to be placed on 9” plates.
2. New Exhibitor or anyone who did not show in Class XXXI in 2006 or 2007 mark tag “New Exhibitor” on the front.
3. All other rules of Homecraft Division apply.
Prizes for section 1-7: 1st - $4.00; 2nd - $3.00; 3rd - $2.00

BAKING

1. Tea biscuits, 4
2. Muffins, bran, 4
3. 1/2 Loaf, banana
4. Squares, brownies, 4
5. Cookies, using honey in recipe, 4
6. Pie, apple
7. Chocolate cake, iced
SPECIALS
A Exhibitor with most points, section 1-7 - Prize: $15.00.
NEEDLEWORK AND CRAFTS
Rules:
1. All articles may be shown ONLY TWICE before being disqualified.
2. All needlework must include a swatch of fabric, yarn or floss used in the entry.
3. Judge’s decisions are final and they will be instructed by directors to discard all soiled, defaced or old work.
4. In case of no competition, the prize will be withheld unless the exhibit is worthy.
5. New Exhibitor or anyone who did not show in
Class XXXI in 2006or 2007mark “New Exhibitor” on front of tag.
6. All other rules of Homecraft Division apply.
Prizes for section 8-17: 1st - $5.00; 2nd - $4.00; 3rd - $3.00

SPECIALS

A  Quilt, pattern named, must be at least 54”x90”. Prizes: 1st - $20.00. 2nd - $10.00.
B New Exhibitor (anyone who did not show in 2006 or 2007) with most points. Prize: Gift Certificate
C Exhibitor with most points in Class XXXI - Prize: Gift Certificate: Dinner for two donated by THE WHISTLE STOP RESTAURANT, BEETON.
