150th Anniversary

Last  year the Beeton Fall Fair will be celebrated it’s 150th anniversary.

A big part of the fair was the participation of the rural and town school children from Adjala-Tosorontio, Tecumseth, Essa and West Gwilliambury in a parade.  They marched behind a banner which gave the name of each school and was carried by two pupils.  Sometimes the pupils dressed in costumes and had a float.

To celebrate the 150th, the Beeton Fair committee  planned a reunion for all people that participated in the fair.  The highlight of this reunion will be a huge parade.  It gave people a chance to relive that marching experience and reunite with classmates that they haven’t seen for years and many never see if they don’t take advantage of this opportunity  Other than the parade there will be other places that they can socialize with friends.

The parade was held on Saturday, September 16th at 10:30

A Big thank you to David T. Pegg for all his help in making the most successful and memorable parade!!!
